3 Day Forecast For Haddington
Thursday 1st January 2014
New Years day begins on a bright note, with fresh winds from the south-south west, averaging 20-24mph. As the day progresses though a frontal system is expected to make it's way in from the west, introducing rain and wind for the latter part of the day. Rainfall rates are forecast to be mostly light in nature, although the odd moderate burst can't be ruled out. Winds during the afternoon are expected to reach 24-28mph , turning lighter in the evening whilst backing to a westerly direction. Temperatures reaching a maximum of 11C.
Friday 2nd January
Friday is expected to be a a day of bright spells intermixed with showers. Winds will genreally be from the west or west-north west, introducing a cooler, polar maritime air mass. Isolated troughs will bring occasional showers, these mostly of rain. Wind speeds of 18-24mph and a maximum temperature of 5C.
Saturday 3rd January
Early showers will give a damp start, but turning drier and brighter as the day progresses. Feeling chilly in a fresh W or Nw'ly wind, with speeds of 16-24mph Maximum temperature of 6C
